Charlie Zicari

CHARLIE ZICARI is a queer, Los Angeles-based writer and producer working across film, television, and theater. He is currently a writer on Disney’s upcoming CG-animated series SAM WITCH and is developing a live-action musical feature with Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle-nominated songwriters Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson. He is also in production on the graphic novel MOONLIGHTERS and developing an immersive theatrical experience set within that universe. Most recently, Charlie was a Jr. Creative Executive at Disney, where he oversaw projects including ARIEL, PLAYDATE WITH WINNIE-THE-POOH, and KINDERGARTEN: THE MUSICAL. During his formative years, he was involved in the development and production of several Broadway and West End musicals, including DISNEY’S NEWSIES, RAGTIME, BETWEEN THE LINES, MAURICE HINES IS TAPPIN’ THRU LIFE, and 9 TO 5. Charlie’s storytelling blends comedy and heart, creating characters shaped by empathy and carrying a song in their souls, with emotionally resonant themes and imaginative worlds that feel like home.
